BLIND LIGHTING in Studio 2:00pm – 4:00pm (Photos on The Vine)
Get ready for a learning experience like no other. We are bringing you the talented team of Trawick Images from Oklahoma City in the new “Blinding Light Workshop” to help you understand lighting. Rob will guide you in an easy to understand technique during this hands-on studio shoot where you play an integral part of the final image. You will also get Terriʼs posing tips & tricks to minimize any subjects perceived flaws and show their best for the camera.

Arlington Camera+ is teaming up with Photos on The Vine in providing an educators worst nightmare for the Trawicks and you can be there to learn firsthand how this dynamic duo work in real life photography portrait scenario. The hidden key to this new workshop series is our educators are not aware of the type of subject, model, clothing, styling, etc. They will not even know if the subject is human!

You will have  a front row seat to the wildest demonstration of an photographers skill and talent as they craft a portrait of the subject with your help in TWO hours. And since we know Robert loves to talk, the clock will be ticking the moment he takes the floor, helping him focus on the class task. When we talk about helping, we are saying you will be hands-on assisting during the shoot. The whole class will collaborate thru the idea, the planning and shooting of the portrait. One of the most effective ways to learn is working together on a common project.
Robert and “his team” (that’s you!) will have two hours to craft the image using only what is available in the studio or loaded in their car for the trip. Since you are part of the team, we ask that each person bring their camera, favorite lens and ONE crazy prop / item that could get used in the styling of the session. Be creative and use your imagination but nothing larger than a carry-on suitcase.

BLIND LIGHTING in the Dark 7:00pm – 9:00pm (Photos on The Vine)
Here is Part Deux of the Blind Lighting series where we are taking the challenge to the streets of Handley. We are not sure if Rob & Terri will be aware of the model/subject for the evening workshop, but instead of indoors they will work in the dark of night. Rob will guide you in an easy to understand technique during this hands-an location shoot where you play an integral part of the final image. You will also get Terriʼs posing tips & tricks to minimize any subjects perceived flaws and show their best for the camera.
