DESCRIPTION:Learn the Basics of how to manage your digital files in this fun 3 hour photo editing course. \nYou have learned how to use your camera and have tons of images.  \nWhat do you do with all those digital photographs now?? \nIn this Beginners PhotoShop Class \nLearn the basics of using PhotoShop to edit your photographs. We will  cover the basics file management and organization. How to create folders to easily find all of your favorite digital files. We will work in PhotoShop to understand the correct way to set up and use cropping\, how to color balance and make image adjustments. We will also be working with basic retouching tools\, and other easy features of Photoshop to get you started using PhotoShop to edit your photographs and get them ready for printing. \n Patrice will go over PhotoShop Basics such as:\n\n\n Importing Your Files from a Card Reader\nCreating Unique Folders and Saving on an External Hard Drive\nBasic Adjustments such as Exposure\, Cropping\, Vignetting in Lightroom (optional)\nExporting to Photoshop and saving images as a .jpeg\nLearning Photoshop workspace and toolbars\nOpening Up Files in Photoshop\nCrop\, Exposure Adjustments\, Sharpening\nBasic Editing Such as Retouching Wrinkles and Smoothing Out Skin\n\nWhat to bring: \n\nYour laptop loaded with Photoshop. If you are paying the monthly subscription fee for Photoshop *$10 a month\, then Lightroom is included in that bundle. We can talk Lightroom if that is something the class is interested in. Lightroom is how I first edit all RAW files from the camera. I will reach out to all class attendees prior to the class to see if we will include Lightroom or not.\nPatrice will provide the images for all students to work on together from processing the files to editing them as jpegs in Photoshop.  You will be encourage to bring in some files that we will work on together towards the end of class.\n\nIf you have a different version of Photo Shop\, or another photo editing software\, I welcome you to join this class. Though some of the features of Photoshop may not be the same\, you will be able to follow along to learn the basic tools of editing photographs. \nThis will be a hands on class and we will be working individually and together to learn how to take the images from a RAW state and the workflow designed to edit\, and prepare the file to ultimately present to a client\, or print. This class size is limited to 7 attendees\, so there is plenty of opportunity for one on one assistance. \nThis class does require a minimum number of registrations in order to be held. In the event we do not meet the minimum number of requirements\, we will notify the registered attendees to either reschedule to another class or to receive a full refund. \nWe require a 48 hour notice to reschedule your registration at no charge. \nPhotos On The Vine is a local photography studio which also rents studio space and holds various types of photography classes from beginner classes to studio lighting. \n\nWe offer photography classes\, from basic to expert\, photoshop\, flash\, and studio lighting classes and we are keen on sharing our knowledge and know-how!
