Do you know the difference between umbrellas, soft boxes and reflectors and want to know how to gain more confidence in using them in a live studio setting?
Join this class for Advanced Studio Lighting to go beyond the basics. Attendees will be introduced to advanced equipment and techniques to create more sophisticated images.
Our Beginning Studio Lighting class is not an obligatory pre-requisite, but we won’t repeat the introductory material so this class does require that you are familiar with using your camera and have some experience in the different types of strobe lighting for studio portraiture.

- Creating mood with light
- Controlling the background
- Accessories for modifying backgrounds
- Grids, Spots, cutters, gobos, and more
There will be a model for this class and all attendees will be photographing using the different light set ups.

Photos On The Vine is a local photography studio which also rents studio space and holds various types of photography classes from beginner classes to studio lighting. This class is a BYOB event. Attendees have the option to bring their own bottle of wine and appetizers to enjoy during the class. A Perfect Blend of Creativity, Conversation and Learning.
